We really had a big holiday weekend! The next night, Saturday, we went to the lake with our good friends J.T. and Carrie and their family. We had a lot of fun swimming in the lake, riding in the boat, and watching more fireworks. I wish that I had some pictures to post from that day, but I think it is really Clint's fault that I don't......
I made sure to charge the camera battery so we could take a lot of pictures at the lake and not have the battery run out. Clint was rushing me so much to leave, but I made sure to get the camera before he ran me out of the house. When I got to the lake and tried to take a picture of Jackson jumping off the very top of the dock, the camera would not work. I had left the battery in the charger plugged in at our house. I would like to think that if he had not been rushing me so much, that I would have remembered the battery and not just the camera!
Anyway, we had a fun time at the lake and all weekend long. I hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July!

Happy Fourth of July, Night 2
On Friday night, we went to Aunt Mac's for good food and more fireworks!
Happy Fourth of July, Night 1
We had a fun night in the park on Thursday night to celebrate the Fourth of July. Jackson drove Abbey and Addisyn in the "parade". They are all so cute in their red, white and blue!

Life is a Carnival!
A few weeks ago, we took the kids to watch Kung Fu Panda. They liked the movie, but were probably more interested in the carnival that was going on in the parking lot of the movie theater. Does anyone remember the "Fun Slide"??????

Then it was on to the Dragon Ride. I think it is so cute that they are holding hands!

And finally, the ferris wheel. We all four rode this together. (Here is a lovely view of Heartland Mall for those of you who have not seen it lately!)

After a big day at the movie and carnival, we had to go to Wal-Mart. I got the kids bicycle helmets because we are going to start riding bikes in the evenings now that Jackson is big enough. They had to put the helmets on as soon as we got into the car, complete with knee and elbow pads, and rode all the way home like this.

Pretty Purple Princess
Abbey had to put on her princess skirt with her pajamas the other night. I thought she coordinated quite well!

Peter Pan and Tinkerbell
Last night we were watching Peter Pan. The kids decided to dress up in their Peter Pan and Tinkerbell outfits from a couple Halloweens ago. Jackson was practicing his flying and fighting. Everything was going fine until Captain Hook showed up..........
He caught Peter Pan by surprise, but Peter Pan won in the end. I am sure with the help of Tinkerbell!

This is how Jackson prefers to watch the fireworks. They are pretty loud!
